The MLB’s post season is starting the today October 3rd, with a Yankees A’s game tonight at 8pm. Tonight is the American league wildcard game. Tomorrow is the National League wildcard game.
Who is in the playoffs this year?
The American League division winners:

AL East: Boston Red Sox

AL Central: Cleveland Indians

AL West: Houston Astros

Wild Card: New York Yankees vs. Oakland A’s

The winner of the Wild Card Game will play the Red Sox in one division series, and the Indians and Astros will face off in the other division series.
The National League division winners:

NL East: Atlanta Braves

NL Central: Milwaukee Brewers

NL West: Los Angeles Dodgers

Wild Card: Colorado Rockies vs Chicago Cubs

The Rockies, who beat the Cubs on Tuesday in the NL Wild Card game, will advance to play the Brewers, and the Braves and Dodgers will play in the other NLDS.
Last year, the Houston Astros won the world series. I don’t think that they will be able to repeat this victory again this year. They are set to play the Cleveland Indians first. Cleveland has a good starting pitcher, Josh Donaldson. The Astros’ batters are really going to have to play hard if they want a chance in this series.
I think the Red Sox are going to win the World Series this year. They are coming into the playoffs with 108 wins and 57 losses. They score more runs per game than any other team. The Sox have some of the best hitters in the game: Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Andrew Benintendi and Xander Bogart. Not to mention there pitching is also very good, though perhaps not the best in the league. Chris Sale and David Price should put up solid performances this postseason.
