Judge Jones handed down his judgement against Intelligent Design Creationism in the 2005 Dover Trial based on his observations of the two sides in the controversy. One side was coherent and consistent and organized; the other side was incoherent and inconsistent and disorganized - and they lied to the judge (under oath!). Judge Jones included this comment in his decision: "It is ironic that several of these individuals, who so staunchly and proudly touted their religious convictions in public, would time and again lie to cover their tracks and disguise the real purpose behind the Intelligent Design Policy."

Judge Jones also ruled "We have concluded that intelligent design is not science, and moreover that intelligent design cannot uncouple itself from its creationist, and thus religious, antecedents." Please read Dr. Barbara Forrest?s paper, "Understanding the Intelligent Design Creationist Movement: Its True Nature and Goals," available at http://www.centerforinquiry.net/uploads/attachments/intelligent-design.pdf to see what the intelligent design creationists are really up to.
