Last issue, we gave you more CAB and it did not stop there. This time, CAB is giving you the opportunity to "Gobble in the Holidays," and we hope you will take it! Now that midterms are over, take a deep breath and come chill at one of our events or our general meetings. As Jay Laperriere says, "it's going to be good times."
Congratulations to Family Weekend: 100 Years in the Making; the weekend was a huge success and I don't anyone who could have done it better. The Family Weekend Executive trio, Senior Lindsay Fontana, Junior Erin Ranft, and Sophomore Kristen Griswold would like to thank all of the help that they received and for all of the families who attended their events. The Assumption College Chorale was absolutely fabulous and they truly brought the cabaret to AC.
Don't forget to come to meetings on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. because the new executive staff was chosen for Sibling's Weekend and they are going to start planning very soon. Congratulations to Griswold, Sophomore Allison Depasse, and Junior Adam Landry for being chosen-they will be a great addition to the Campus Activities Board Family of Cabbies!
Oh the Winter Ball-it's going to be so lovely. The Formal Events Executive Junior Stacey MacDonald and her subcommittee and its executive Stacey MacDonald have been working really hard on the "Night on the Boulevard" theme. If you were not able to buy ball tickets on November 1st or 2nd, then do not fret. Stacey is opening one extra day to buy tickets. It is going to be this Friday, November 12th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the CAB office (located in Charlie's). Remember to bring your I.D. $35 for the ticket. We hope you can make it.
If you made it to comedian Michael Dean Ester last Monday, then you didn't fester. This hilarious comedian related well to the AC community. Great job to the Comedy subcommittee and to CAB's very own Junior Michael Consolazio. Stay tuned for more information on upcoming comedians. (Hint: it's going to be a hoot.)
