Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh what fun it was to ride on this wonderful and delightful CAB! The events, the giveaways, the gimmicks, the cabbies, and the good times have been so wonderful this semester. I cannot wait to see what new and exciting events are to come next semester. But for now, let's reminisce about the wonderful events that have taken place in the past week.

Singer, Jay Hansen, is "sweet like candy," and I could have sworn that he sounded like a half Dave and half John Mayer. I cannot lie, but Jay Hansen is by far the best looking event we have had at Assumption. That is not only a reason to get out to more CAB events next semester, but I you can expect more theme events. During the performance of Jay Hansen there was a Christmas morning theme, and there were plenty of pajamas, presents, and hot chocolate to go around. Next time you see Steve Pagios and his subcommittee give him a super high five for his contributions. Also come to CAB next semester to help plan out these cool and wonderful events.

We waited all semester, and for some of us we have waited two years just to go; the Holiday Ball has come and gone. The beautiful candle lit tables with black, silver and red colors were stunning with so many beautiful dresses and so many studs in suits. The dancing was great and at some point I knew the roof was raised. Ha, ha, ha; sorry I could not resist. If you loved what you saw at the Ball you should most definitely come to our general meetings next semester to help plan out the Spring Ball that is going to be at the Holiday Inn.

Did you "Put the Holly in somebody's Holiday?" Well, I hope you did because it was a great way to put some cheer in someone else's holiday. On Monday, some folks came by and designed some wreaths for hospice and nursing home patients to brighten up their doors and put a smile on their faces. One thing that I have noticed is that Assumption has to be one of the most giving communities that I have ever known. This project makes a holiday feel meaningful because to me the spirit of giving is so much better than the spirit of receiving.
