As I begin to unpack all my stuff, mind you I am still not completely done; I begin to realize that this is the LAST time I will ever be doing this. Then everything begins to click, that this is my last semester in college. The last first day of school, the last first night out, the last time walking to Taylor, the last... I think that you get the picture. I don't know about everyone else, but that scares me a lot. Where have the past four years gone? I can still remember my firsts. My first first day of college(getting lost on campus because I thought it was huge), my first time getting into Suney's, my first time doing my own laundry, Oh wait I still have yet to do that! Haha

Although this semester is our last, is it really our last lasts? The friendships I have made I know will not be over come May 15th. My friends have become my extended family, that I can't imagine never having met them. We live together, we eat together, we are here for each other unconditionally. When we started at Assumption four years ago, we were all doing the same thing at the same time. Leaving our homes, the places we were most familiar with, our "best" friends, we had a common bond instantly. We knew that everyone was going through the same things that we were. When we leave college, we will all be doing different things. Some of us are going to go on to grad schools, others are interviewing and trying to get a job, and some of us are avoiding the realization that the "real world" is only a few months away.

May 15th, we will all embark on a new journey of our lives, really alone for the first time. Your closest friends who have become a part of your family will not be an arm length away, but they will be a phone call away. We all know a phone call can be comforting, but it is not the same as sitting next to them. The realization that the future and the ending of our college careers is inevitable and approaching rapidly, I am left with one question: Am I ready?
