Did You Know that through the efforts of SGA Senators...
...there will be a new administrator in Career Services beginning next year?
...there will be a photography class offered to AC students next semester?
...the Late Night @ Charlie's program was created?
...there is Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream in Charlie's?
...there is a free Juke Box in Taylor Dining Hall?
...weekend hours at Taylor Dining Hall have been extended to accommodate student requests?
...continuous dining has been added to weekend days at Taylor Dining Hall?
...hours will be extended at the IT Center and Library for the upcoming final exam periods?
...online Class Cancellation notification system was created and implemented?
...new lounge furniture was purchased for Charlie's and an additional lounge area was created on the upper level of the Campus Center?
...the successful Class Assembly program was started giving many more students the opportunity to get involved with their classes?
...the Housing Lottery system was adjusted to add a Re-Shuffle night to better assist students with their housing needs?
...the campus speed bumps were fixed so your cars do not scrape going over them?
...the number of LLC projects to be completed in a year went from six to four?
...the Visitation Policy has been changed?
These are some of the major changes that have come about over the past couple of years and there are still many more exciting things in the works. If you have any questions about any of these items or anything else related to SGA, please feel free to contact me at eahearn@assumption.edu or talk to any of your elected Class Senators.
As always, I would encourage you to attend your monthly class Town Meetings and to stop by a Sunday night Senate Meeting at 8:20 in the Hagan Campus Center. These meetings are open to all, and we look forward to hearing your ideas.
