"I have no plans for the spring break this year. I tried pulling plans together but I never got anywhere. I know that I am going to be sitting in my house all spring break while everyone else is lying on the beach having a great time," said Assumption College student Mike Daly.
If you do not want to be in the same situation as Daly then you had better get on the ball with making spring break plans, since offers are selling fast.
The most popular spring break vacations at Assumption are South Padre, Texas; Negril, Jamaica; and Acapulco. These hot spots are great for any college student looking to have an unforgettable spring break this year. All three are full of exclusive and all-inclusive hotels that are poolside and close to the beaches. Also, these places offer something that New England does not-the tropical sun.
Many seniors are celebrating their last spring break at the South Padre Island near the Gulf of Mexico.
"I believe we paid around $1,109.00 each and [the trip] is all-inclusive," said Senior Bryan Crossley.
By simply going on StudentCity.com, you too can be booked for this trip within minutes. By following a few easy steps, you will find that there are still affordable packages available. The cheapest package there is, considering it is so close to spring break, would cost $1,175.00 per person. This offer includes hotel, flight, and taxes. The hotel, The Holiday Inn, is located right in the heart of South Padre. It is the ideal place to get away from it all. You will find it to be a fun and relaxing atmosphere located directly on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
Are you looking to get out of the country? You can head on over to the tropical island of Negril, Jamaica. Many Greyhounds will be roaming the beaches of Jamaica this spring break. My roommates and six of our good friends wanted to go away and we know people that went to Jamaica last year and loved it. Around the end of October, we searched for packages through StudentCity.com and received a great deal.
