Welcome to the wonderful world of the CAB corner...where dreams come true! Now that you have bought your ball tickets, been to Equalogy, and enjoyed the fabulous Siblings Weekend. I bet you are ready for a whole big platter of new "good times." But first, I must recognize the incredibly hard-working Willy Wonka workers (from Sibling's Weekend) on a successful and sugar-filled weekend. It was a wonderful sight to see face painted kids and their families. The weekend was filled with candy, bright colors, Recycled Percussion, and umpa-lumpas. Congrats to the subcommittee and it's executives: Allison Depasse, Kristen Griswald, and Adam Landry.
Just think, this Friday, March 4th we are going to be on Spring break; and for the fortunate ones they will be in the sun! Tear for all of those who will go in the tanning beds to make it look they went on vacation. Don't worry; I will be one of them. But when we do get back, CAB has some amazing events planned.
One of the amazing events that we have is the film Ocean's 12. Daniel Ocean recruits one more team member so he can pull off three major European heists in this sequel to Ocean's 11. It is playing at 8:00 p.m. in the Hagan Campus Center Hall on Monday, March 14th. As always, popcorn will be provided and it will be on the big screen. I have seen the movie already, but I am definitely going to see it again; it has an ending to die for.
Ha ha ha, ho ho ho, and couple of la-di-da's! That's how we pass the day away at the very-o-land of CAB! Yeah, you could say I am a tid-bit weird, but I am excited for Jessica Kirson! Who is she? She was just recently on the "Last Comic Standing," and is known for her infectious brand of humor and creating characters. Sounds interesting, huh? Well, then come on Wednesday, March 16th at 7:30 p.m. in Charlie's.
Is it a mystery or not? Interested in a trip to the Mystery Café in Boston? It's a four-course dinner and the transportation to the café is provided. The bus leaves at around 4:00 p.m. for this exciting and murder mystery show. Seat yourself right in the middle of the action for only $20 a ticket on Saturday, March 19th. You know what is even better? You may even have a role in the performance.
