Weeks after her death, Assumption College continues to mourn the loss of sophomore Mary Kostikian. On Thursday, April 7, the 20-year-old died in a car accident on Route 495 in Marlborough. According to State Police, she was not wearing a seat belt.One of Kostikian's closest friends at Assumption was sophomore Ashley Greenwood.
After Serge DeBari retired from coaching the first time 12 years ago he never thought he would step foot on the court as a head coach again. However, seven years later he found himself back in Laska gym bringing Assumption from finishing 15th in the NE-10 conference to finishing third, in just two years.
Pat O'Kane is a 21-year-old junior from Hollis, New Hampshire and a member of the Assumption College Ice Dogs. He's been a member of the team since his freshman year and has been receiving top points since then. In his freshman year, he scored 10 goals and had 10 assists for a total of 20 points, and in his sophomore year he more than doubled his total points.
