Is your fantasy football season not going the way you hoped? Can’t make decisions on whom to play? Well it’s about time you turned your team around and started winning some games.

Introducing Assumption College’s “Start’em Sit’ems” for week 9 of the NFL season. Much like the NFL suggestions, obvious and elite players such as “The GOAT” Tom Brady, or Todd Gurley won’t be included in these lists.

STARTS OF THE WEEK: Mitchell Trubisky vs Buffalo

Trubisky is finally the quarterback that the Bears invested in two years ago. With 1,500 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 97.1, 10th best in the NFL, Trubisky is looking like an elite QB in this league. Watching him throughout the season, he finally seems comfortable and more importantly, confident out on the field. Not only does he, himself look impressive, but the front office has done a great job of surrounding Trubisky with the weapons on offense to keep the ball moving forward, a coaching genius staff led by offensive minded head coach Matt Nagy to guide him in the right direction, and a powerful and dangerous defense to turn the ball back into the young QB’s hands. This is backed up also by his 27 points per week average this season.

Not only is Trubisky’s season looking very positive, he is also playing in the biggest mismatch of this week, the Buffalo Bills. The entirety of the Bills season can be summed up in one word, chaos. While their defense itself is ranked 21st in the NFL according to USA Today, it is simply no match for the well rounded offensive personnel of the Bears. Also, because the Bills’ offense is so atrocious, facing off against a playoff worthy defense is a recipe for disaster. This is because if the Bears defense manages to keep the Bills’ offense off the field, then they get the ball back to Mitchell Trubisky quicker and for more time.
