Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

“Wake Up Dead Man” is the third installment in the Knives Out series. It follows Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc, a southern detective who can solve any case. This time he is heading to upstate New York to solve a murder in a church. Other cast members include Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, and more.

The Knives Out series is directed and written by Rian Johnson. Johnson was nominated for “Best Adapted Screenplay” for the first two installments in the series. Outside of Knives Out Johnson is most well-known for directing Star Wars – The Last Jedi.

“Wake Up Dead Man” will be released in select theaters on Nov. 26 and will be available for streaming on Netflix starting Dec. 12.

Wicked: For Good

“Wicked: For Good” is the sequel to “Wicked”, which was released last November. It is an adaptation of the second act of the musical “Wicked”, which is based on the book by the same name.

The first film followed Glinda Upland and Elphaba Thropp in their first year at Shiz University. It takes place before “The Wizard of Oz”, where Elphaba is the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda is the Good Witch.

“Wicked” was a major financial and critical success. It made over 750 million at the box office and was nominated for ten academy awards, including best picture. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were also nominated for Best Actresses awards. The film won two Academy Awards, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

“Wicked: For Good” will be released exclusively in theaters on Nov. 21.

The Running Man (2025)

“The Running Man” is a futuristic-dystopian movie based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name. It is the second adaptation of this book, the first one from 1982. The protagonist is played by Glen Powell, known for “Twisters” and “Top Gun: Maverick”. Other cast members are Emilia Jones, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin.

The movie follows Glen Powell’s character, Ben Richards, as a game show contestant. Ben must run from detectives across the world to make money for his family to pay for a doctor. If he survives for 30 days, he will win one billion dollars.

“The Running Man” will be released in theaters Nov. 14.
